South Africa will see a record rainfall for the second consecutive day on Saturday, with the country on track to have an average of 8.4 inches of rain in the next four days.
In the south-east of the country, heavy rain is forecast to fall in the early afternoon, with temperatures of between 10C and 13C expected in the country.
The rain is expected to continue for at least another three days, with rainfall forecast for the weekend.
Rainfall for the rest of the week, however, is expected in most parts of the state.
The forecast rainfall amounts to an average 8.5 inches of rainfall in four days, which will be more than twice as much as the average for the previous five days.
South Africa’s rainfall was forecast for Monday, which was the highest in the world in February.
Rainfall on Sunday was also the highest recorded for South Africa.
