New York City is famous for its high housing prices.
But as the city prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary, the number of new homes being built in the city is also on the rise.
According to the latest data from the real estate site Trulia, the average price of a new home in the borough has climbed by about $1,200 per square foot over the past decade.
And the price increases aren’t stopping there.
For many, the increase in price is the main reason they want to buy a home.
But while most people buy houses because of affordability, some people are turning to this market because of the opportunity it offers.
“I love the home for the people who have the opportunity to live in it, to live and work in the same place,” said one buyer in New York, who asked not to be named.
“It’s a good opportunity for everyone.”
It’s also a perfect storm of a boom in millennials, the first generation of people born after 1980.
And with the millennial generation, which has been growing exponentially, there’s a growing demand for affordable housing in the area.
And that’s why Trulia’s new report, which examines what’s making people want to live close to the city, is particularly important to millennials.
Trulia says that millennials are becoming the first group in the country to have their first home purchase within the past five years.
In fact, they’re also the first to buy their first house in the last five years in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
Trustam, the New Jersey-based real estate company, estimates that over 30 percent of millennials are considering buying a home, up from 9 percent in 2014.
“What this means for us is that in order to remain competitive in the housing market, we have to be able to meet the demand for homes and that means building the best housing for millennials,” Trustams director of research, Matt Shipps, told the New York Times.
“And we can’t do that if we’re not building the housing to meet demand.”
Trulia estimates that more than 7 million millennials have bought a home since 2014.
And many of them are building their homes for a range of reasons.
Some are simply looking to save money, like one woman who lives in a $1.2 million home in Westwood, Brooklyn.
She’s currently selling it because her rent is going up, and she doesn’t want to spend $1 million on a house that she doesn,t need.
“If I had a choice between living in a house in Westmont, or a house like that, I would go for the Westmont,” she said.
“Westmont is a nicer house.
It has a lot of amenities, it’s got a lot more views.
I’d probably go for it.”
Other people are just buying because they want a place to call home, like another buyer in Westchester, New Jersey.
She said she bought a house to get away from her husband and three kids.
“We were going to be renting a one-bedroom in a townhouse, and I didn’t want that to change,” she explained.
“So I bought a $300,000 home in a small town in New Hampshire.
That’s where I was going to live.”
The home is currently valued at $1 Million.
But the woman isn’t the only one who’s found the city to be more affordable than her ideal home.
Another buyer in Florida told Trulia that she wanted to build her dream home in Florida, but didn’t have the money to do so.
She decided to look for a smaller, more affordable home in New Orleans, which is also considered to be cheaper, but still expensive.
“My house has a beautiful, white finish,” she told Trustamas.
“But I didn.
I couldn’t afford it.”
As Trulia notes, the trend has been pretty steady over the years, and many people have been willing to pay more for a house they feel is more “affordable.”
Trustom estimates that in the past year, there have been more than 1,600 homes that have sold in the New Orleans area.
It also says that in 2015, nearly 2.5 million homes were sold, with 1.6 million sold within the first five years of the year.
That means that while there has been a massive increase in the number and quality of homes being sold, Trustas new report shows that there’s still room for more growth.
Trusted by investors, Trusted Homes is one of the largest and most popular home equity crowdfunding platforms.
It launched in March of last year with a $100 million round of funding.
But that didn’t stop the company from launching a new funding round earlier this month with a goal of $200 million.
TrUSTAM also points out that in New England, home ownership is increasing faster than in any other part of the country.
But there’s another trend happening
